I'm pretty sure Kevin Spacey did an impersonation of Walken auditioning for the part a few years back on SNL.

Clips of Spacey doing Walken doing Solo are intercut in the video, starting at about 0:30 and ending at about 1:15.

There's got to be a better video of the SNL skit somewhere? He did more than the Walken bit, I seem to remember Burt Reynolds auditioning for the part of Darth Vader, maybe?
