Ship Names July 2010
 

Hi.

Less than 100 new names this month, partly because of Real Life things and partly because I discovered some big mistakes I had made, and spent a lot of time moving things around.

I though about not putting it up at all this month, but decided the moved names made it worth it.

As always, put the file directly into SH3 Commander/Cfg and overwrite the old one.

Have tried downloading a few times but all I get is a 22byte zip file (Ship Names July 2010.zip) that's empty!:hmmm:
Tried with IE and FF!

Do you ever think about adding a few joke names to the mix? I think that the SS Essess sounds good, unless you have a lithp :O:

Having just done a quick t'interweb search for that name it seems that I'm not the first to think it funny. So scrach that one, let's be original here!

No. I'm into research and only use real historcal names. I also have the actual tonnages for each ship if the game would let me use them.

There is one exception: The small sailboats list contains the names of some female members here.

Fair enough, you must certainly put in the hours of research... of the historical names, not the female members :D

I downloaded it, will se how it looks like this evening!! ;-)
