It is about time germany gave the aussies a good hiding.

Bahhhh, Portugal probably will not pass the first phase of the cup! We will only be world and european champions when mourinho decide to train the portuguese selection!

Holland/Netherlands...known in the UK as the best team never to have won a world cup :-?

And I think they will after we struggled to beat the Kiwi's in a friendly last night.

We have to look towards beating Ghana and Serbia, both of which will be tough opponents. I think we'll be very lucky to get beyond the first round this time around.

At least your team has a chance of beating someone, Estonia is completely ****ing hopeless

Of all the teams of the list, then I guess all except for one is qualified to win. France cheated its way into the final part, so I won't be pleased to see them win. It's a matter of fair play, you know.
But it doesn't really matter. Denmark is going to win. We all know it... :D

Well, that's what makes football special. No video refs (except on home couch), just the refs on the pitch and their decision. If you as a player can get away with something the refs don't see, good for you. In a way I like that, it brings more drama into the game.

Will be interesting to follow the North Korean national team.

I am inclined to agree with herr Herring in this regard, the judges are humand and sometimes make mistakes, but their calls on the pitch are not later overruled by replays.

What price/odds the North playing the South? :hmmm:

So in other words: you approve of cheating?

I prefer sportmansship, fair play and correct judgements.
I think they should install a fourth referee at the side, which only intervenes, when the referee at the field ain't certain, so he can consult with the fourth referee. Someone who monitors the match on a screen. In cases of golden goal, there has also been cases, when the wrong team has won the match.
I cannot respect cheating, simple as that.

Well, you might change your mind, when your own team is sent home because the opponent cheated and got away with it. :03:

It's time for the Germans to bring another lovely trophy back to Berlin. A straight forward group, Ghana and the Aussies will be easy matches while Serbia might prove to be a slight challenge.
Lets hope Germany take England to penalties. I want to see if England can hit them yet :P
