Nikimcbee's solution to the N Korea crisis
I was discussing the subject with a korean engineer that I work with. Here is my idea. We need to inflict maximum damage on N Korea, so they will know not to mess with the West anymore.
Since they have no economy or anything valuable to bomb, what do we attack? We'll here's where the mcbee plan comes in.:hmmm: 1. Cut off KJI netflix account. 2. scramble KJI's satelite TV connection. 3. Bomb KJI's DVD bunker. 4. Bomb the factory that makes the paris hilton sunglasses and HRC commie pantsuits. That should bring him to his knees. Deprive him what is most important. http://scrapetv.com/News/News%20Page...am-america.jpg Sure, there will be the local trolls (subsim) here that will scream: http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...ior/1wasis.gif But, if you want to make an omlette, you gotta break some eggs. |

It's the only way to be sure.

Don't forget to put some TNT along the border...

You also have to make sure you bomb his porn collection.
Jokes aside tho. If NK makes good on its threat and starts lobbing artillery. KJI will die in his dream of hell on earth. Sad thing is millions would likely go with him. NK artillery could kill hundreds of thousands of people if its not countered fast enough and you can bet your ass they will send human waves of people who have been taught from birth to revere him as some sort of super person or god. Millions.... I just hope this joke will be funny next month. |

Really piss him off
Instead of dropping explosives, from high altitudes, drop food and propaganda to his starving millions. Let them take care of him.
Put a really big price on his head. Stop paying N. Korea to be nice. All of that money is going into his military anyway. (or his private Swiss bank account) Sow food crop seeds from the air across the land, to grow food that doesn't have to be government controlled. Sow counterfeit N. Korean money everywhere in the countryside, by air, to undermine his currency. |

(^Kidding, I'm a fan of my neighbors to the north but there are problems with your ideas...) Quote:
"That food is confiscated in the name of the Dear Leader!" *Whack* Listening to South Korean radio is a crime in the North, I imagine the punishment for reading propaganda leaflets would be quite draconian... Quote:

I'm simply hoping all the NK offensive capability hardware is plotted accurately and on a target map/list with adequate means allocated to take it out quickly and effectively if and when the shooting starts.

The DPRK has access to Google Earth on the Dear Leaders laptop and a pair of Zeiss binocs. I would go with the south. I bet every tube the ROK and USFK has along the the DMZ has all the critical DPRK targets line up and ready to go at a moments notice. :ping: |
The NK army will only last as long as they have food. Once they run out, its game over. And how are their food supplies now?:hmmm:

Ahh, Korea. A subject that will always be near and dear to my heart since i've been been across the pond to "visit" that bastard country twice.
I have the best idea EVER, to resolve our problems there. Withdraw all our troops and let those racist little bastards solve their own problems. yes i said racist. Most Koreans have what one might call, "excessive pride". Point blank, they are a proud and stupid people. Anyone not pure blood is looked down upon. "Ameriasians" may as well be living in the US circa 1960. American troops, are in many parts of the country resented, and trod upon. Yes i know, novel concept, "Gasp! OMG we're not loved?!" They know enough english to tell you, "NO GI here, you GO!", "GI Go home" and a few others. We are considered "dirty" apparently. Any bar or resturant Americans happen to visit, the locals no longer will go there. Which gives owners plenty of reason to deny service. Being told to leave a resturant because i was an american is a memory that will always last. Korea is called, "The land of the morning calm". To those of us who served there, we called it, "the land of the not quite right". I could talk about Korea for hours, but my bottom line is, "F*ck em!, Let them sort their own problems." If the ROK and DPRK resumed full scale war, i wouldn't shead a single tear so long as we're not involved. Their country, their problem. Screw em. |
So you were there 40 years ago and still dislike the people Do you have any idea how they have changed into a high tech society and how access to info changes any people?
Regardless we have a treaty with them. We are legally bound to support them with military in the event of an hostile act by NK. Also if the line is broken and NK tanks get across and south. The fighting would leave untold millions dead and the economy in ruins. That would mean markets around the world would go to near depression levels within weeks. |
