Check out my new avatar. Don't you think he bears a passing similarity to Lloyd Bridges' character Adm. Thomas 'Tug' Benson, in Hot Shots?

Admiral Benson: I slipped on a crab. Who put that crab there?
Lt. Commander Block: I don't see any crab, sir.
Admiral Benson: Don't tell me. There were two crabs. They work in pairs. I went to Annapolis for chrissakes!

Oberon 04-15-10 06:36 PM

Jim 'Wash Out' Pfaffenbach: Looks like enemy aircraft at 12 o'clock.
Admiral Benson: Really? 12 o'clock? Well, that gives us about...
[checks his watch]
Admiral Benson: 25 minutes. Think I'll step out for a burger.

:yeah:

Did you know that Loyd Bridges was originally offered the role as the Captain of the Starship Enterprise? :03:

I think William Shatner is the most, James Kirk/T.J. Hooker/Denny Crane, I own the full set of Boston Legal, I hope to own the full Star Trek set!!:yeah:

Sea Hunt is on really early in the mornings here. Way better than infomercials, IMO.

Check out the movie Showtime. Not only does Eddie Murphy do a great spoof of himself as a failed Eddie Murphy wannabe, but Shatner plays himself trying to show Murphy and DeNiro "How TJ Hooker would do it."

Hilarious stuff!

I used to get angry (as a youngster) at the opening scene when he faced his officers and pieces of his uniform were removed.
