Any rumours for patch??
 

Any rumous or devs saying there is patch coming, or do we have final SH game in hand what devs gave to us? any confirmed or even rumours?

There is nothing about the coming patch in SH official forums.

There are three rumours that I know of:

1. Very soon judging by activity from a German forum mod.

2. 1 month post release date judging by past experience on patch release times.

3. No more patches for SH5.

Personally I would bet on no.2 being closest to reality, but that is just my opinion.

May be that all three are true :
1. patch done soon
2. after patch is finished, it will be released in a months time because it has to go through different "channels" and validation check lists.
3. after that, no more patches for sh5 :)

I love it how nowadays even a "rumour" is welcome to some extent! :-) Any rumour will do!

I'm guessing they have no resources to spare for fixing problems with the game... they're probably all scrambling to close that hole in their DRM scheme ZygmuntTorpedo's work-around exposed.

It's all about priorities ya know....

The rumor i heard was that all the resources was pulled from SH5 and instead they are working on "Sea Hunter", a new sub sim based in the modern era. Here's some early concept art.

A review by Gram.pl, posted in this forum (in its Google translated form) by MaciejK, claims there's a patch in works for autumn.

Thats when SH5 should have (would have?) been released after they'd finished it to a reasonable state.

But maybe there will be less new bugs;)

I do not understand why UBI wants to sell complete game with the half price, but this is not my problem...
This is good information for players: the game's price will be down, fast graphics cards too. Only positives.

Well, there is a patch out on the net since a week or two.
It's just waiting for UBI to adopt it officially. ;)

But it may become an expansion if too many improvements are made. Uhm.. i mean fixes.

Seeing how the handle the patches (you get 2, maximum 3) it would be better for SH5 to see patches comes as slow as possible.

The slower they will come out, the more bugs they will be able to fix.

I don't think they're going to pull out 10 patches for that game. Well, I might be wrong but Ubisoft is not Blizzard (on any level).
