Wow meth is bad news...

:o

50 faces of meth users.... disturbing to say the least.

What drives a person to such self destruction?

Shame really, drugs are a hard driver. I feel for them.

Unhappy with their lives but without the courage to end them I guess.

From what I understand that is one of the particulars about that drug. As bad as they look to us, they neither see or feel it.

Speaking of which apparently Andrei Agassi was a user too:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/tennis/8329193.stm

Here's a passage that illustrates my previous post:

Quote:

"Slim dumps a small pile of powder on the coffee table," writes Agassi in his book, which the Times is serialising. "He cuts it, snorts it. He cuts it again. I snort some.
"Then comes a tidal wave of euphoria that sweeps away every negative thought in my head. I've never felt so alive, so hopeful - and I've never felt such energy."

I guess it's easy to ignore open sores and loose teeth when one feels like that...

They look like extras on the set of a zombie movie. Ouch.:nope:

Then again, maybe 'living dead' would be a correct description.

longam 10-28-09 10:01 AM

Seems they forgot what shampoo is while under the influence.

AVGWarhawk 10-28-09 10:01 AM

It would seem this activity is a prolonged suicide.

Jimbuna 10-28-09 04:01 PM

Torplexed 10-28-09 09:32 PM

Ack! Just nightmarish to look at. :o I know zombie movies are "in" but that's taking it too far.

Remember the frying pan and eggs commercials?

This is your Brain.

This is your Brain on drugs.

Any Questions?

I think sharia law is a cancer, but for meth dealers/manufacturers it is a perfect cure.

Since I live in the meth epicenter, here yah go:
