Well,, War & Peace,,good read,,though right now I'm reading "Achtung Panzer!" by Heinz Guderian and "Panzer Commander" by Hans Von Luck, ( his memoirs)....so I'm loaded up for some time...and of course PC games.:salute:

New graphic engine and walking on sub is not all what I need...
I will wait for bugs opinion, playability, stability, is climatic game... and multiplayer mode first test (and connection with &^$#@##$% UBI.COM)

Dev team has already broke my heart when I read that "in SH5 only German uboats will be playable"
1. No change side for single / multi / random mission
2. No advanced adversarial mode to play surface ships / convoy (DC2)

Thanks mookie! SHIV is one gaming purchase I will be making ahead of time... and supporting SUBSIM as a side benefit is my pleasure.

Someone ordering the game a few days before its release will get the game just as fast as you will. But, hey, whatever floats your boat. :)

I just did it like I've already ordered it even before anything else.:up: also through here to get ppl's eyes on ordering through Subsim.

we shouldnt poo poo pre ordering because what happened in the past doesnt mean it will happen again.

he may be playing sh5 while we are running around trying to find a place to buy the game. also waiting could cause you to miss out on any surprise gift included with preordered games as a reward. (im not saying there is any gift im just saying it could happen)

i kind of lean towards only buying something in my hand but preordering can give you an advantage especially if there is a shortage of games available when its released.

And...preordering through the Subsim link helps Neal keep this site running.:sunny:

If one lives in the UK, Germany (Europe?) or USA of course. Amazon doesn't ship software to Australia so, unfortunately, Neal gets no benefit from me. GamesWarehouse does though...

My problem is that I spend literally $100's a month on CDs and DVDs from Amazon US and UK, yet only after I order do I ever remember (if indeed I do at all) that I could buy it all through here with benefit to Neal and Subsim. :damn:

I know that feeling well. I never remember to come here first. It's only when I'm actually here and reading a thread like this that I remember to put up a reminder for others. :doh:

I try to make up for it by donating when I can.

That is the only thing I am waiting on. Special Editions etc. Hopefully if they are announced in the future they will be available through Subsim.

Just that I get the basic game,,( I'm waaaaaaay too impatient) and then after I do that;,,then I buy Special Edition, maybe cheaper:D.
You don't know my copies ( bought) I have with SH3 and SH4.
Patches and opinions,important,important,,but to recite a famous saying: "Opinions are like "butts",,everybody got one, ( Clint Eastwood, I think The Enforcer) :)
I downloaded Missions for SH4 from when it came out on D2D and then I bought recently SH3/SH4 + incl. Missions combined through Newegg, ( I have SH3 from day 1 when it first was released and the same with SH4).....:yeah:
So now I have,,,:hmmm: see like,,,,errrhmm,,2 copies of SH4 + Missions and 3 of SH3 and GWX on top of that....well,,I have a bunch.
You know, a copy might brake, the cat might attack my PC.....:haha::har:

my friend has to lock his up in the closet because his dog will eat any disk it can get to, the damn dog like the taste of the film and uses em for chew toys :nope:

he's had to go hunting to replace a few at garage sales before lol.
