Milchkuh ( Milkcow)

:hmmm:
A bonus for the game was a fueling at sea in real time mode.
That means meeting place of players allowed on the radio, meeting Arranged by the BDU appear with the specially arranged to time from Boat
Appearance of a loaded Dammy Boat (MilchKuh(Milkcow) with a short film excerpt from one
U-boat.
simulated with a red beam of the loading (the game Install-bar).

How do you think about?:yeah:

-----------------------

Always a tense time transfering fuel and torps.

I'd like that in SH5. Maybe make it a random thing something bad can happen.

Good one Tomi99 :salute:

Interesting idea!
But what about a playable "Milchkuh"?
Imagine you are the commander of one, it´s your task to stay in a specified area, find other boats, supply them with fuel, spare parts, etc. and defend yourself against air attacks and task force groups.

Alex 09-30-09 01:35 PM

Kurfürst :  !

Very good idea, mate ! :yeah: :|\\

Fluffysheap 09-30-09 09:18 PM

You can actually simulate that already with SH3. Take a type-IX submarine, and just never attack any enemies.

The real "Milchkühe" had been regarded as primary targets by the Allies, a lot more efforts, compared to "standard U-boats" had been undertaken to find and destroy them. None of the boats survived the war.
Because of their masive size, they were slow and clumsy, even far more than a type IX. Finding other boats, without being detectd by the enemy, was a difficult thing.
