The VIIC/42 BattleSub

When you start a new career all you need to do is select the VIIC/42 sub.
If you up-grade in a career select the VIIC/42 and then Conning tower VIIC/4

This mod includes its own version of the Basic file so you need to disable any other mod containing

The sub Skin shown in the pictures is ....Venatore's VIIC Atlantic WorkHorse Skin IV.

i saw in a post that someone, by tweaking a .cfg file, was able to make their u-boat go 52 knots. Which .cfg file is it?

my guess is the .cfg fie in Data\submarine\Uboat-put desired type number here-
its the only.cfg file in there, open up with notepad, and crank that puppyy up

That was mine, if you are using SH3 Commander, just rollback and go to your data/CFG folder, then open Basic.cfg and search for this value "SpeedBoost1=" then add any number you like (actually you can edit everything in here to get all the peak technology in 1939 and at 0 renown) for 52 knots I was using a XXI at snorkel depth obviously with the snorkel up, if you use it on surface you get maximum 42 knots, the value I set was 2.50

The VIIC/42 with engine upgrade will do 30 knots
at ahead flank and about 21 knots ahead standard
using the exhaust turbo charge upgrade
thats already in the basic file.

ok The viic battle sub more torps for 3 types of sub faster speeds all the subs any guns in any year any turms as well.

Ok this version has all the extra's included I.e Sub Skin...Wake mod

This mod has been updated to Version 2 for some very good reasons.
(1)the mod now has the stock version deck gun placed in a new position on the deck
(2)The response time of the Deck and Flak guns turning to target has been shortened so as the M42 flak gun can engage fighters and not spend its time turning around and never shooting.
(3)Shorter reload times on all guns.
(4)Faster rate of fire from all guns.
(5)New deck TGA added to the Flecktarn skin to remove the doubling effect on the lifeboat blisters ( in the Extra***8217;s version of this mod) only

The mod is self contained and will work the same in the stock game or GXW so you can use which one you like. :salute:
