How could they possibly forget the Queen?
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/28/wo..._r=3&ref=world
How do you overlook a living piece of history and specifically for this event? |
Typical of the French.
|
Wut! They forgot the Queen? bast**ds :nope:
:DL |
She's too crusty anyway :smug:
|
Crusty or not, she wore the uniform and is Queen. What else does one need to get an invite:06:
|
This must be George Bush's fault somehow...
|
She should gate-crash.
That would put it up 'em! |

Trust the French to not invite the Brits. Thats one of the oldest rivalries in the world. How many times have they gone to war with each other?

Something fishy here.
The only story written about this seems to be the Burns' story about what is reported in a British Tabloid. Other news sources just seem to be copying the Burns' story. Has this story been confirmed by a source not quoting a tabloid? |

Time for the golden oldie me thinks: An elderly British gentleman of 83 arrived in Paris by plane. At the French immigration desk, the man took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry-on bag. "You have been to France before, Monsieur?" the Immigration officer asked, sarcastically. The elderly gentleman admitted he had been to France previously. "Then you should know well enough to have your passport ready." The British gentleman says, "The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it." "Impossible. The British always have to show their passports on arrival in France!" The elderly gentleman gave the French Immigration Officer a long hard look. Then he quietly explained; "Well, the last time I was here, I came ashore on Juno Beach on D-Day in June 1944, and I couldn't find any *********g Frenchmen to show it to." http://imgcash6.imageshack.us/img91/...britaincj6.gif |
I'm sure the French will have enough "Queens " minceing around there. :har:
