Shoe throwing, not just a statement

but a trend:

I think it is time that all shoes be banned or at least registered and back ground checks be done prior to buying them...:hmmm:

Or at least registered so the next time they are thrown at a world leader, or hung from the telephone lines, the authorities know who to go after...

AVGWarhawk 02-03-09 12:19 PM

Yes, shoe offenders need to be registered and have a background check.

Should it be shoe specific?:hmmm: Slippers are not really dangerous. Steel toed boots on the other hand:o

Kapt Z 02-03-09 12:55 PM

So now security won't just ask you to take off you shoes. You'll have to turn them in and you won't get them back until you leave.;)

Weiss Pinguin 02-03-09 01:00 PM

What about the right to carry concealed shoes? :hmmm: If I come across a puddle or it's raining I'd like to have some protection.

FIREWALL 02-03-09 01:03 PM

Add an increased charge if they have athletes foot.

The 'chemical' attack is always harder to defeat than a 'aerial' assault!

UnderseaLcpl 02-03-09 01:13 PM

They can have my shoes when they pry them from my cold dead feet.:x

AVGWarhawk 02-03-09 01:35 PM

HOLD IT! I HAVE A LOADED SHOE AND I KNOW HOW TO USE IT!:nope:

Platapus 02-03-09 05:00 PM

If you outlaw shoes, only outlaws will have shoes.

Weiss Pinguin 02-03-09 05:03 PM

I for one will stand by my rights to shoe horses.

Digital_Trucker 02-03-09 06:19 PM

Shoes don't kill people, foot odor kills people.

Depends on what it's loaded with.

And there should be a shoe exclusion zone around schools, which should also be extended to sandals. Flip-flops are okay, because they are light-weight, but I think there should be a total ban on steel toe work boots.

A quote from amerikas greatest statesperson (evah):

(make sure you read this post ex-tra slow foe full ee-ffect)

My fellow amerikans, we have a new crisis. Over 500 million ameri-kans are keelled everyday by thrown shoes. Now, I have a 67 point plan the curb this vio-lence. I will cree-ate a new federal department of shoe throwing and regulation. We must subsidize a "lock-box army" to con-tain this problem. Only by putting these deveant and violent shoes in "lock boxes" will we be able to end this point-less vio-lence against the chil'rens.
