OMG - please tell me it is not true

I' feel sick. I get headaches from the sheer imagination of it.

According to an interview that should have been broadcasted on ABC news on Thursday, Sarah Palin plans to participate as candidate in the race for presidency in 2012.

Before she becomes president I prefer the idea of the ISS exploding in orbit and the toiletseat falling down on her head and at least filling some stuff into it.

Funny... I think it was a MSNBC panel you said last week that Palin is not ready to be VP this year, but will be a great POTUS choice in 2012. hehe

And just because you do not like her, does not mean that she wont be a good choice as President.

I certainly have never said that she would be a good POTUS choice ever. she is unknowing, uneducated, and even stupid enough not to see where she makes mockery of herself. There must be reasons why McCain's staff learned to hate her so much in past weeks. and that she says stupid stuff like this after having been a growing handicap for McCain's campaign already and McCain still fighting for office right now, will not make her any new friends.

Just because you like her does not mean that her intellectual handicap disappears in just four years. Her head is a perfect Fata Morgana.

Please, stand above her, do not lower yourself to her pathetic carricature of a niveau by defending her. She is a brainless zero, and most of your countrymen (assuming you are American) meanwhile have understood that. What is she more than the biggest joke of your nation.

And I once thought it could not get worse than GWB. As Einstein said: human stupidity knows no limits.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I am surprised that you lower yourself of the level of the more radical Obama supporters. A lot of things can happen in four years, jumping to conclusion and entering panic mode just yet is pretty unprofessional, even for you.

It's a series about a girl who gets killed after being hit by a toilet seat from a space station, then "lives" on as a reaper.

Every mainstream American news source leans some way these days. It's how they cash in on audience bases. I just thought it was an interesting read, I of course don't know if it's 100% the truth and didn't mean to push any sort of agenda.

I apologize if it doesn't agree with you.

In that case...

I honestly don't know. Just saw it while I was reading over Yahoo! news.

Ah.. ok thanks anyways =)

And yes, it is an interesting read. The problem I see with scapegoating Palin is that it might backfire big time. I think it is safe to assume that she has more "fans" then McCain does.

If McCain truly is scapegoating his VP pick, I don't think it'll effect him very much. Methinks he won't be nearly as much of a player if he doesn't win this time around.

Which I find very, very interesting for someone who was more or less unknown not long ago. She has stated her intent to continue being involved in national politics should the GOP not win POTUS in a few days, but I think it still remains to be seen how seriously people will take her after the election in the event of a Republican loss.

Witht the way the electoral demographic is shifting, I can't see Palin winning the Presidency.

The nomination, probably. Her main skill as a candiodate is generating enthusiasm in the Republican base. But this base has been getting smaller and smaller, and Sarah Palin has demonstrated that she cannot win swing voters.

I agree. I think the success of such a candidacy is a conservative pipe dream.

That said, hey, if Obama screws up really badly (funny how I'm talking about him as already having been elected... but I digress), who knows - there might be a backlash and that particular side might garner more sympathy (or perhaps more accurately, Obama falling flat might dampen the liberals but energize the conservatives - and as always, an election is about being able to mobilize a support base).

I agree with you, to a point.

I mean, if you would have told me in July that McCain was going to pick her as his VP I would have looked at you blankly, figured out who she was, and then I wouldn't have stopped laughing at you for a while. Predicting politics/politicians is often like predicting the weather. Yes there is some data to go by, but it can still (and often does) really surprise you how things turn out.
