I tried using the VIIC in a campaign and I got a CTD when I tried to launch the rubber dingy in a supply mission. So as it is now I will use it for anti-shipping only.

MatzeEsn is not a Moddingmember from AOTD yet. He only supports me, when i have questions.
Some day may be he will join us ... we wait for his answer :) @Xantrokoles Ich hoffe du weisst, was das für eine 1-Mann Arbeit ist, die da noch auf die zu kommt. Wir arbeiten zu dritt an diesem Projekt (Atlantik) und sind schon in der 4. Woche. I hope u know how much work it is for one man. which is incomming. We are 3 man working on this atlantic project and we are in the 4th week. |
Clone a wake controller from the SH4 subs, instead of porting the SH3 one. THe SH3 vs SH4 shipwake controllers are completely different. The SH4 kind is simpler to use and probably renders correctly without much need for tweaking. Open a SH4 sub it's val file, find the ShipWake controller and export the properties. Open the 7c val file, and import the new properties where the old properties of ShipWake sit, update the parent id and don't forget to remove the old properties.

I haven't really looked at your mod nor do I know how you did it, but just moving SH3 files over to SH4 doesn't guarantee it works. As you may know, SH4 has been upgraded and improved with new controllers and behavior of old controllers is not guaranteed to work 100% the same as in SH3. So yea, I think you may have to run through the files and compare them with a SH4 sub to see what the fundamental changes are, and try to implement them as such...
