Hi All :)

Have many of you watched the movie TRANSFORMERS ?

Just watched it for the second time. Not a bad Saturday flick. Don't have to think to hard on a sat morning. Which for me is a good thing after a hard friday nite. :doh:

I watched it for oldtimes sake. A little dippy but ok for what it is.

I liked it. But im a fan of the decepticons so was pretty brassed off when they failed in there plans I was hoping it would be the end of all mankind:p

That movie was all special FX and no WRITING !

Personally I loved it... it was not perticulary clever or well written. But a lot of good action, nice cars, nice girls and robots from outer space shooting at each other :). And a couple of nerdy jokes lightend up my day as well.

I was disgusted they didnt sign Jan Hammer to compose the score. He did the original, for crying out loud! :o

Go to Wal-Mart and buy yourself a copy of the original Transformers movie! :up::up::rock::rock:

What about the go-bots?
I had the nuclear submarine.:cool:

I DID like the little robot that the government had in that glass case in Area 51 or wherever it was.

It was about three inches tall, had a machine gun, and a SERIOUS attitude !!!

Did they even TRY to give him a good name !?!

I'd have picked a name like SUBROCK or POSIDEN or something like that. People are just going to LAUGH at him when he transforms now !!!

Oh... I see.. he's supposed to be the "Friendly Robot Submarine".
They may as well call him the "Totally non threating and plays well with young children and puppies robot submarine" Or... Just "The Retarded Robot Submarine"

But imagine the sim Sonalysts could make for him.... *drool*

I had the same one back in the day. I bet my mom still has it in a box some where in the attic or closet. I use to have the biggest GI Joe collection. In fact the Transformers movie originally was going to be GI Joe until Mattel talked producers into doing Transformers. I would have loved to see a live action with Duke, Shipwreck, Deep Six, Dusty, ect.

There is a Gi Joe movie being done as we speak.

Even if you weren't a fan of Transformers (and some die hard fans were upset believe it or not), you can't help but be awed at the level of graphical effects. Even after theat big guy blasts things at the start, they don't really show off until that little guy appears.. I was like WOW. The they moved on to some pretty impressive displays of computer technology. Story line was OK, acting was OK and if you can get both those categories into the OK zone, plus all the effects. Well, thats more than just an OK movie.
