What is with these Welsh kids? What the hell do they think there doing?

Is this some sick new trend to kill yourself or what?

There is a story from ancient Greece. A "suicide epidemic" had hit a great city, claiming the lives of daughters from many families. The king asked a wise man what to do about that, and he received the advise that the naked bodies of the dead women must be displayed to the public on the market place, all exposed. So it was proclaimed in public that from now on it would be done like this, and everybody knew.

There were no more suicides.

Too many DD's after them. It may have helped if they had dropped GWX and gone back to stock.

Food for thought. Women usually do not shoot themselves in the head when committing suicide. It's usually in the chest because of vanity. So being seen naked in public could be humiliation............unless shes down right gorgeous....but I've never seen anyone dead look gorgeous.........

Another little fun thing about shooting onselef in the head, though it is quite possible this is a myth, the survival rate is about 50% from self inflicted gunshotwounds to the head with intent of being leathal.

There is certainly something going on in that part of the world. I saw on the news the other day that (at the time of the interview, before these most recent deaths) the local coroner doesn't see a link between the suicides! :huh:

I have to say that its very strange, so many deaths in one location, in such a short period of time.:hmm: Its truely terrible to think that so many young people down there see so little purpose or point in their lives that they are willing to end them like that. :yep: :roll:

last i read the suspicion was that it was related to teh interwebz..

cut the net off for a month or so n see if that makes a difference?? but the coroner sees no correllation?? bloody hell, similar ages, all hung.....:damn:

They say there's no correlation probably to prevent panic among parents and everybody pulling the plug on the internet, while the teens who can bypass the blockade all go visit the listed suicide groups and suicide some more.

i don't know if it's 50%, but i do know a neurosurgeon who wanted to patent a device sort of like a mouthguard/biteblock but with a hole for the barrel of a gun so the bullet would blow out your brainstem and guarantee death. he was tired of dealing with people that had tried to shoot themselves dead but instead survived as vegetables.
