Some guys in an SUV drove past a dorm building and shot at it at the college I'm going to in little town Barnesville, Georgia.

A tradgedy, but not a shocking one anymore.
As I said last time, there is no reason to think this won't happen again next week and
every reason to belive it will happen again soon.

if the 2nd ammendment was respected and the damn government wasnt so PC about it, there would have been a student with a concealed and carry permit and caryying a concealed handgun, who then most likely would have saved those lives by placeing a few well placed shots to the shooters chest.. but nooooooo they have to outright ban guns fro muniversity campuses.. its like, your hunting deer, you might as well make them blind and deaf...

The guns being banned from the university didn't stop the shooter from doing it. Even if someone had a weapon in one of those classes, he still would've shot at least 5 of them before he met his demise.

Don't get me wrong...I'm for the 2nd!

We'll find out more as the news will be interviewing their own experts as to why he carried a shot gun to the campus.

rather 5 then 18 :-? then again even 1 is bad, id rather see students armed going to school.. or at least security with assault rifles or some decent weapons rather then some crappy baton and a flashlight... :roll: plus if everyone knew guns are allowed on campus who has the balls to try to kill armed students in a university???:dead:

Why stop there, give everyone a gun, and make it compulsory to carry it locked and loaded?

if a student wants to carry a gun legally witha CCP, then let him, if they dont want to then they dont want to... if a student has a criminal record then no he shouldnt be allowed.. same goes for teachers and administration. criminal record = no CCP, if they are clean they can chose wether or not they want to carry a concealed weapon.. now go back to England if you dont want guns...:shifty:

I have to say 18 students shot dead sounds like a pretty darn good reason not to leave England. :yep:

I just find it extraordinary that your solution to spree killings is more guns so students can have some sort of wild west shoot out! :roll:

In England we don't have much of a problem with guns in schools, but we do have a
problem with knives in schools.

Perhaps we should have more students and teachers carrying knives or at least security
with machetties rather than some crappy whistle and telephone....:roll: plus if everyone
knew knives where allowed in the university who has the balls to try and stab
a armed student in a university???:dead:

If we give students knives and let them know that it is ok to have one then
stabbings are bound to decrease.

Everyone would feel a lot safer if they knew that all the students in the class room
are ready to jump out with a 4" blade at a moments notice.

I'm sick of this crap already. There is something mentally wrong with people in our country and it is getting worse. My mother works in an elementary school with children who have severe behavior problems. You can pretty much tell who has major problems and who is the sociopath but there isn't anything that can be done about it because of political correctness and diversity. The problem gets identified but nobody does anything to nip it in the bud. Many of these kids have lousy parents and the parents were probably were addicted to drugs when carrying the kid. In any event this stuff is really getting out of control with the shootings. I am glad I am finished with college at this point and I am quite glad that many of the criminal justice professors at my university carried concealed much to the horror of many of the more liberal professors.

It is getting to the point where I feel I need to carry a gun with me everywhere I go regardless of whether or not that sign says no guns permitted because that sign isn't going to save my life if some madman runs into the mall or some store and starts firing. I hate to get all biblical but I am pretty sure there is some reference to this type of insanity increasing in frequency toward the end of times. I'm not a super religious person but sometimes the accurancy of those writings can be scary.
