Flying over the waves :-(
Good evening sailors!
I'm here doing a silly question that I haven't known to solve... With storm weather (over all in shallow waters) I see this: http://aycu03.webshots.com/image/430...4302006_rs.jpg It's annoying. This is my installation order: 1.04 TM 1.7.6 RSRDC_P3_TM_v320 RSRDC_V320_Patch1 NSM 4.0 Classic NSM4_Realistic_Torpedo_Mas But I think I have seen this effect in stock game too. I have tested the Sub Reflections and Roll Pitch Mod vs_5 from Leovampire (RIP) but this issue persists. Any idea? Thanks in advance. |
Wow...that looks very weird indeed. And you said you tried ROW Roll and pitch mod and it persisted?! That's INDEED weird. Check out a brand new mod swdw released, right here. This should deal with that problem once and for all.
|
Those don't look like ROW waves, closer to what stock were prior to 1.4, strange. By the way, welcome to SUBSIM

Just to add, I have the new Trigger installed, it incorporates the Roll and pitch mod, I have not had this problem.

1.4 TM 1.7.6 (latest version) RSRDC_P3_TM_v320 RSRDC_V320_Patch1 NSM 4.0 Classic NSM4_Realistic_Torpedo_Mas And now, Surface draft and dive time mod from swdw. I remember this issue with the 1.2 or 1.3 too. It seems that tha latest mod solved my problem. Thanks. |

Good that it is solved anyhow :yep: RDP |
Well, I have decided unistall the entire game (first time since I brought it) and to try a fresh install with the more selected mods. The best way to be sure and satisfied (rare I am).
Thanks again guys. I have been visiting this web for ages (from launching of SH3), but I had never posted before. Regards. PD: Yes, I know JGSME, |
Definitively, reinstallation has solved all my problems. I see the brave sea now, and my boat is IN sea:

EDIT: Pls, compare the first shot in the post, and these ones... Modders, you are gods for me. Thank you a lot. |
Glad to see you got it worked out ( flying sub ), nice pics

Glad you got it sorted, but in my opinion, your sea looks rubbish still. I really dont like it, but hey, if you are happy with it, thats all that counts. I personally like the stock 1.4 sea textures the best. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...02-10_0122.jpg |

@OmegaMan: Nice to see you here too. Are you working in the next mod pack for the Spanish community? What's happening with 4PS? I don't need a full week to upload a complete forum and web by FTP... I miss you. :yep: Y el ladrillo... es para usarlo como objeto contundente? |
Hi Willy.
Yes, I'm working in the next release of TDT series, for the Spanish Perrus and for the whole world. I dont know what is happening with 4PS: Alcohol, drugs, women...? Who knows! But I love it. I also miss you. I hope that we will soon see in the Perrus (orr "In the Navy, tralalalaralaralaaaa.......") Hombre Willy, ¿a estas alturas me vienes con lo del ladrillo? Pos claro que es para algo contundente. El único que le da "otros usos" soy yo :rotfl: Nos vemos. Regards. |
