Mods updated to GWX2-compatible

Hi people. I hope you all had a great xmas and new year(s eve).

I've updated a couple of my mods to be compatible with GWX 2.0 as promised. In the case of the OLC GUI this was just a case of updating the Sea folder (as many had correctly supposed) so I just used cuervo111's mast doubling tool (thanks to him for that). As there are no other changes required for compatibility, I didn't bother updating the version number - it's just OLC GUI v1.1.4 for GWX 2.0.

I've also made GWX 2.0 versions of my Night Sky Fix.

Both are available from my sig. Enjoy!

OLC

P.S. The night sky fix mods might not be compatible with v2.1 when it's released...

Very cool, OLC.

Your GUI mod appears to be quite safe for GWX 2.0, and will probably not need much attention at all to be sorted for 2.1.

The night sky bit will only need a small change for 2.1 if it includes the scene.dat file. Will try to remember to message you later regarding same.

Cheers OLC

Hi,

What are these updated mods?? I'm currently using GWX 2.0, Internal Life, SH4 effects for SH3 and various GWX standard mods.

Can I use these mods at all??

Please forgive me if the answer is obvious but i'm new to modding my SH3 and SH4 and there is just so much choice out there that it is a little daunting to me!!!

Thanks.

Hmm, I don't think that's ever been requested... but IIRC you should be able to use the "OLC Night Sky Fix for GWX 1.03/8km" version with stock SH3. Give it a try.

Privateer! Your reputation precedes you, sir. Glad to see you've been "unjailed" or whatever it's called. :)

What's a Stamp!?

U49 01-09-08 07:06 PM

wohoooooo!

That's it... now I can shoot again from far away...

OMG, I grew soooo accustomed to OLC GUI that I could not manage to shoot at anything further away than 1000m

Thanks a lot, OLC!

Thank you Sir.
Yes I was granted a reprieve.
It's not an often happening thing
and I am MOST grateful for a second chance!
Give any thanks to Neal for that!
I've had a few chances to chat with him at the GWX Team Speak Server.
And I'll say this,
He is a True Texan!!!
And a heck of a guy!!

Anyway,
Kpt and I were messing around and he showed me a few images
like a seal of approval type thing.

I think with all the confussion right now?
that Stamp would help alot to give everyone a visual
"Approved"

Now, there are going to be people that say that is BS.
And I fully expect to be attacked by those persons.
But I think and aim all I do at the average user.

If it's to complex to use, or causes heart aches to install,
breaks things,
or overwhelms a system that meets stock SH3 specs?

Then I, in accord with GW standards, can not give my approval.
There are nice mods out there.
They just don't meet ALL the requirements for approval in my eyes.

Privateer, of all people, I cannot believe what you just wrote. Let's take two steps back here.....did you design the mod that you are giving this 'seal of approval' to? No. Who are you, or anyone else, to say it warrants this seal? You know your mod, they know their mod. It's the mod's designer that knows for the most part if it's compatible or not. Sorry, but I have to call a big fat BOGUS  to this. C'mon now, clear your head and think about it :shifty:
