how do you cook your hotdogs

Boiled, Grilled, or Microwaved?

Torplexed 01-01-08 01:33 AM

No roast on a stick over an open fire option? :p

cheese123 01-01-08 01:35 AM

Whoops for got that:lol:

Torplexed 01-01-08 01:36 AM

I guess roasting is a form of grilling. So I'll vote for that one. ;)

TarJak 01-01-08 01:37 AM

And what about garnish? Hot english mustard, chilli sauce cheese and fried onion for me.

Great! Now I'm hungry for hotdogs. I'll never get those ingredients at this time of night. :p

Not even New Years. Still stuck with chips and cold dip.

The Hornet 01-01-08 01:48 AM

Grilled for me
Garnish sounds like a chili-cheese dog and chili-cheese dogs are the best, Sonics 1ft long coney dogs are also the best.

1. Put all kind of fleshy leftovers after having slaughtered and produced steaks and such into a huge tub.

2. Add a sufficient ammount of enzymes to it, until he mass becomes fluid.

3. Add salt and some spice and stir until the viscous mass is well-mixed

4. Add another enzyme that solidifies it again.

Born is the "meat" of your hot dog. It is already predigest, so to speak. Effectively it is waste that is being sold to you. Bon appetit!

Brrrrr! - Thanks, not for me. I even make my ground meat myself, manually, to have control over what kind of meat is put into it, not just meat leftovers. A bit oldfashioned to use a hand-run meat grinder at home, but it is a perfect solution.

If more mustard doesn't get you over it, try some Mad Dog 22 Midnight Special :sunny: It will relieve your troubled mind immediately, promised.

STEED 01-01-08 08:23 AM

Boiled better for you. ;)

Takeda Shingen 01-01-08 09:58 AM

I don't eat meat, but when I prepare them for guests on the 4th and whatnot I grill them. Boiling meat just does not seem right to me.

EDIT: I just noticed that this poll will close in April. Take your time and think over the choices, people. You have plenty of time.

I don't. Typical bad food.

lesrae 01-01-08 11:50 AM

Wrapped in clay and baked, when you break off the clay it removes the spines ;)

Edit: Complete mis-read of the topic title - I thought it said hedgehogs. I will log off and stop drinking

I did not vote because I use all of the above as well as eat them cold...my kids think I'm weird lol...join the club huh.

O.K. I voted nuked because that is how most often I eat em...a quick lunch.

silentrunner 01-01-08 06:31 PM

The hotdog is a true american food only if grilled or microwaved. We grill 'em for the fact that all Americans enjoy grilling and microwave 'em because we're too lazy to really cook them.

Letum 01-01-08 06:40 PM

Are these the same as saussages?
Or are they just the tings that come in tins?
