You are fat, you can not come into the country
|
:rotfl:
:nope: blardy kiwis! |
How does one react to that? Though, NZ has a point and I could understand it if she were dependent on the national health care system. People who are chronically obese do have a higher occurance of health related issues. But he has health coverage, (and access to a gym they point out) and his wife wouldn't be on public health care... :hmm:
I wonder if laws saying "You're too stupid" would work... :hmm: |

Following the same logic, anyone who smokes or drinks alcohol should not be admitted either. |
Whilst nobody likes a fat **** ( )

I don't know about NZ, but if you've got the money go private. Public healthcare is not all it used to be certainly here in the UK as my other half will testify. If it were me on principal I'd tell NZ immigratin to fk off and find another 'critically skilled worker' elsewhere, if they can. On reflection it's increasingly obvious why every tom, dick and akhmed is comming to the UK when other countries have immigration rules like these... oooh, that turned into a bit of a rant didn't it? |

I guess the logic is that they might not be able to pay when they get health problems in old age or when their helth means they can not work. |
wow, that's quite scary in a way. "you're fat, go away!"
Chances are she could well lose the weight when she gets there, or, it may be she physically can't lose it. Either way this seems to stink a bit. |
I met a women from NZ who was glad to get out as in her words things have gone down hill fast. And no she is only here in the UK before leaving for America.
Anyway when the oil runs out we will all have to work the land so there will be no more fat people. ;) |

Thats just the tip of the iceberg. Only honest folks are the country lads down on the farm :yep: |
wonder how long it may be before they start genetically screening people...?
can't imagine any justification for the fat person tag that could not also be used for the introduction of genetic screening..and once you've gone there...it's game over..because we are then in effect...fighting to remain geneticaly "pure"... ..one wonders..freedom? what was that again? there is a strange quirk in history...that those ideologys defeated in war..often later "win over" their victors by other less violent means..the victor "absorbs" the ideology some how..finds it somehow "usefull"..and it echoes down thru history like a bad dream that won't go away...it's monkey politics |

Stop producing junk food and bad food and almost poisenous food. That simple: what is not availablel cannot be eaten, cannot ruin people's health.there are some things were this is all so ovvious and evident.
Problem is not how much you eat. Problem is what it is that you eat. If you eat the "right" things (hypoglycaemic carbon hydrates), and avoid the "wrong" things (hyperglycaemic carbon hydrates) you can eat as much as you want, since your insuline production remains low and most of the carbon hydrates do not end up in being transformed into energy reserves and being added to your body's fat reservoirs. the link between type of carbon hydrates, insuline production and fatness is so very simple and easy to understand, really. Now how do we solve this existential problem of bad stuff being so damn tasty? Probably no solution. So, better don't produce it from the very beginning. :D |

It's called 'Freedom' a term that the word 'Democracy' get's confused with a lot. |
I question the need of having the freedom to buy cyancali bread at the baker, for example. And if the individual is praticing it's freedom in a way that it creates mounting negative consequences and costs for the community, then this understanding also must be questioned, for there is no thing such as unlimited freedom as long as you are not the only man on Earth. My freedom ends were I start to limit yours, or live my free life at your costs, and vice versa.
Freedom fries, anyone? the use of this word, freedom, can be exaggerated. We are talking about healthy versus unhealthy food. Let'S leave politic philosophy out of it - it has no place in this. |
i reckon we have all to easily fallen into the habit (and it is a habit) of creating scapegoats...we can't prevent illegal immigration...we can't deal properly with the crime rates...we have all the troubles on going of the terrorism issue...we also have the worrys (real or no) about climate change...fuel reserves...etc etc...
and what do we do...? we stop a fat man from bringing his fat wife into the country...oh yeah that's going to help enourmously..idiotic:nope: |

that was the general jist of my statement after all ;) so it goes ever on... if the suits can keep us focused on scapegoats then we will tend to give them less hassle as they go about their "plan" to solve all the worlds problems..what-ever the hell that is... either way what ever they are up to, the last thing they want is ordinary people messing the whole thing up..so like pavlov's dog (spelling?) they train us to look the other way...and deflect all the resentment towards some randomly selected (and completely innocent) segment of society...wonder who's next on the list? ugly people? people with chronic arthritis? (old people?) the key requirment being that the selected group remains unlikely to raise significant protest...even in the face of such blatant descrimination..(and manipulation) no one is immune...we're all human... is any of this likely to make the world a better place ??? be a huge surprise if it did....a huge surprise...divide and conquer...we#ll all be at each others throats with the governments blessing if they persist in this policy |
Did anyone test her for genetic predisposition? If she was born with one or more facilitating characteristics, does that still excludes her? Will predisposition exclude other conditions aswell, bone problems, heart issues, etc., or just fatness? If so, then dismantle hospitals already because you will only need an ER and maybe a pharmacy.
