As the Passenger\cargo is based on the Caribou :yep:

Capt. Shark Bait 10-10-07 05:53 PM

woohoo, now it can be sunk...again.... and again.....

now they can read the story behind it, and to fulfill history have U69 get sunk a few months later lol. will there be more based on NA east coast?

bigboywooly 10-10-07 06:00 PM

lol what links do you have

:rotfl:

As the link you posted says

All transatlantic shipping was stopped due to the losses by uboats EXCEPT the ferry

So I cant imagine there will be a lot more than we have there already BUT
Am always open to suggestion

An excellent book to read is "Enemy on Our Doorstep: The German attacks at Bell Island, Newfoundland, 1942", by Steve Neary (published by Jesperson Press, 1994). It can be found used (at times) on Amazon, since it is now out of print (which also means it's pricey).

The mine at Bell Is. was one of the largest iron ore mine in the world at that time (even now, it's got some estimated 4 billion tons of ore left - but it's too far underground, and under sea, and too low grade to be profitably extracted).

Remains of uboat victom, Bell Is., taken by me in 2003
