help locating milk-cows
 

Hi guys, I have a question about the milk-cows mod. I've downloaded the mod and extracted it into the data folder, but still i'cannot find resupply ships. Should i place the mod somewhere else or is there a way to find out where should i find one of those ships at sea??? :up:

Welcome to Subsim, Kaleun rammstein! :up: I've had the same problem that mod. And I wasn't able to fix it or find out what caused the problem. But you could try installing GWX. It's great mod and it features milk cows/supply vessels.

If you try GWX you can access the milch cow availability dates/locations by pressing F1 in-game.
GWX is available from my sig :up:

There'll possibly (and I emphasise the word 'possibly') be another sneak peek view in the not too distant future :hmm:

about Sensal's milkcow mod. the readme doesn't really say what file to replace, it's a bit ambiguous, and it's not jsgme capable:damn: . could a kaleun put something up? thx

So are the Milkcows worth it. I mean should i download it or not.

If you aready have GWX then you already have milkcows.

If you don't then download GWX now. I'd guess 9/10ths of the people on this forum are using a supermod, mainly either GWX or NYGM.

IMHO.....most definitely yes. They allow you to travel farther afield and replenish without the need to return to your home base, therefore incurring further losses of additional days in port that are not imposed on you for docking with a milch cow. :arrgh!:

Milkcows and resupply ships
 

I only have GWX and have sighted a resupply U-boat. What is the method for docking or resupplying ? Do you have to be a certain distance from the resupply ship or what ?? How do you get resupplied ?

Maybe you can help me with the question on the JSGME mods that GWX comes with. I can't find the text file that describes the addons in detail that came up when I installed GWX. Where is it.

I have the 1.03 upgrade also but that is all at this time....Love it !!!!
