Blazing Car Crashes into Glasgow Airport

Possibly the third terrorist incident this week in the UK :hmm:

Hmm most disturbing... but i dont believe they can do this for long.l

Jimbuna 06-30-07 02:03 PM

I certainly hope your right :yep:

Heibges 06-30-07 02:06 PM

This could go on for quite some time. I don' think they have any idea yet whether the two are related or a copycat.

And when the US & England finally pull out of Iraq, which has been inevitable for a long time, they can now claim to be heroes for driving the infidels out. PPPPPP.

Biggles 06-30-07 02:13 PM

Let's hope it doesn't. The British police has done some good work now, stopping these two bombs in London and the two twits that did this Glasgow thing was arrested at once. Keep it up lads! Stay one step ahead of them!

CCIP 06-30-07 02:19 PM

Yep, this has been another good/lucky turn, if a disturbing one. Good thing noone got hurt and the two clowns that tried to do this have been busted.

micky1up 06-30-07 02:30 PM

the may be related but as a terrorist attack both failed to achieve thier aim other than the obvious disruption, poory executed by modern standards and ameturish in executuion these are not AQ trained terroists but none the less disturbing

Letum 06-30-07 02:33 PM

The whole police operation seams far too elaborate (and expensive!)!
More traffic police would be better, far more people die on the road then through these half-arsed terrorist attempts.

Seth8530 06-30-07 02:57 PM

I have also noticed that all of these "terrorist" attempts have been extremly amature. Either this aint aquida or the are losing their touch.

Statistics will prove you right :yep:
Terrorist attempts are by far the quickest way to mobilise public opinion though.

I agree. Really the only goal is to get on television.

bradclark1 06-30-07 03:20 PM

They won even if they didn't get the explosion they presumably wanted.
They caused disruption and fear. More piss-pot attempts coming?

I hope for the latter.

Heibges 06-30-07 03:57 PM

I think that only rarely has any terrorist group had more than one or two capable organizers at one time.

One Tupperware-point for you.

they are probably amateurs with British passports, and probably with a background of well-functioning integration. They must not belong to al Quaeda, but they probably got the order to strike from Al Quaeda, maybe even from Allah himself.

Instead of making Rushdie a knight, we should have beheaded him. Then they would have struck us maybe a year later, but at least not during the summer vacation. As if this summer hasn't already had enough bad weather - and now this!

In London. One word: yuck! Rained all day.

Though I do like the cooler temperature.

Any, back on topic: this surely also has to do with Paris Hilton's release. I can just feel it in my bones.
