Publisher is not Ubisoft directly, it is Rondomdia GmbH, their exclusiv distributor for the "Ubisoft-Exclusiv" budget series.

WAC and NYGM are both superior to those two payware addons too

Yes, but since I'm not really a member of the dev team anymore I can be objective and say that SH3 plus GWX is most deserving of a real SH3 gold status. ;)

I have tried to dl and install this, but have had no luck. Perhaps I will try again when GWX 1.04 is finished

I bet no one at ubi even did any Q&A the X1 addons and saw how buggy and crap they are :nope:

Still if this version of SH3 is 1.4 and starforce free I might have consider it, assuming the X1 addons are optional installs so I can whack GWX over the top instead.

I made the mistake of buying the first so called 'addon' from X1... **ducks**:oops: :oops:
My excuse for that is: I had no internet connection at that time so I didn't know about GWX.:cry:
But I will NEVER EVER support exploiters like X1 again, I confess!:smug:

If this "gold" release includes seprate dvd's then we should be happy this product helps keep the game alive.

If it is something of a combined release then you guys can claim greatnesss to what ever mod you feel is best, some things never change. I think your forgetting about a possible influx of new players. These players may indeed browse this forum looking for help or support and other friendly players, not to be chastised for their choice or unfortunate distibution of x1 software.

If this release is seprate installs then there is an inconvenience of a series of uninstalls and reinstalls to get the game to par. If it is not then it may be to the benifit of any mod or modders here, GWX, NYGM, or WAC, to find out what difficulties there will be installing said selection over this 'gold' release.

so i guess that the people at ubi are not very informed of what is hapening around their products ... they would not have missed GWX and probably would waited for final GWX for gold release
