Anyone in the Service?
 

Just a shoutout to anyone on subsim in the service,
any country, any branch of forces, anywhere, at home or abroad.

Nope but if i could be 20 again i would try much harder to get in the army, and i would go for sniper specialist if their is one. Ive always been a good shot with a gun, have won many competitions over the yrs on shooting range. I find the sniper class like a secret forces unit :) I like that.

Wouldn't join our navy unless i lived in the states or UK as NZ has no subs :down:

my application to the reserves is a work in progress - waiting for a couple of tests then im sweet :)

Not yet, but the Navy is very appealing to me right now.:hmm:

I'm a lowly snotty Midshipman in the Royal Australian Navy.

I was in the Reserve Forces years ago, but only for a short-time. PEI Regiment: Armored Division.

Found out in the end it was not for me, but gave me a huge appreciation for those that are in our Armed Forces. They have my respect big-time:up:

I applied to the Polish Land Forces Military Academy a month ago.:D

Ive though about joining the navy or Air force, but tbh, theres noway I could get past basic training, plus the fact that I'm not that loyal to any country and stuff...

Was; been out for 36 years now.

Considered it for a long time, to help out with college.

A combination of free tuition and my area of interest being unavailable under the scheme put paid to that idea.

I was both, sniper and special forces, but long long time ago. Man am I old. :88)

I was think the other day, that I had been our for 11. Also the last time I did any exercise.

Im in the reserves, my "MOS" is a Forward Observer in a Brigade/Army level Recon Platoon.
Thinking about going to a sniper course, ive allways been interested and had some basic training.

im a leading seaman warfare specialist serving in the submarine command team trainer in faslane part of the Flag officer sea training (fost) department teaching tactics and operations skills:rock:

Go Navy & look into weapons systems. Sonar Tech & Fire control Tech are the best rates for that. Lots of good electronic training & you get to fire the weapons. Stay on surface ships. Destroyers go everywhere. I know I did when I was in, 35 countries on 4 continents. One other reason for joining the Navy, No al-qaeda navy.
