Please reed:

I know that this graphics may please ones and don't for others,
It's my bellieve that doing something to change something
that is more then seen since we've started modding SHIII it
is better then doing nothing and just leave it as it is, Modding
is trecky and takes long time to do, Some Mod Damage models,
some Skins, some Cfg files to get better in game Content,
But everything resumes to one single name, Options...
Imagine SHIII and the community with just "ONE "as a big Mod!
Users wouldn't had any Option but to play ONE as a Mod, but no,
we have also GWX, NYGM,RUB, Aces of the Deep, and others...
With graphic Modding goes the same way, you give them as
much optional Graphics as the tastes in the all community!
So be constructive, think posetive, and Don't ever Say bad
of others hard work...
After all everything is a matter of Taste, and about that we
can't Argue... :yep:

JCWolf, Please Help To Correct This Mod!

:hmm: This type of Officer Icon is very desirable, but there is a major problem, because in both English and German, the Weapons officer and the Navigation officer are swapped and thus are both in the wrong slot. That is, the Nav officer is supposed to be in the second slot from left and the Weapons officer in the third slot; however in this mod their positions are swapped!

Can you please correct this and re-release this mod in a corrected version soon.:yep:

Thanks in advance!

JCWolf 03-29-07 09:27 PM

Mate try out the latest release on this
download it at my web site...

Also I'm using them as you can see in the pics and they are not swaped bro!!!

:hmm: Thanks for your reply. I went to your JC Wolf Workstation site and got the latest version of GWX_Off_Icons Eng_GerV.03. Although the documentation jpeg photos are correct, the OfficerA.tga file (Eng/Ger) still shows the WE/WA swapped into the incorrect second (Nav) slot. However, after test loading it via JSGME, it shows up in game fine, so it seems this has now been corrected. Thank you for your efforts.

By the way, to be helpful, as for your other similar mod, GWX - Officer Icons (square flat buttons), the OfficerA.tga are correct, but the documentation jpeg photos and the in game on screen displays, both still show the We/WA swapped incorrectly into the second (Nav) slot. Please load these by JSGME yourself for a look. Perhaps, these will also appear soon in the corrected version?

Thanks again for your great mod efforts!

Hello jcwolf,

nice looking! I have a small correction concerning the German version. The "SO" (Sonar) was actually called "Horcher" (eavesdropper in English, if I recall correctly). So the text on the German button should be "HO" instead of "SO". I admit, its only a tiny error, so feel free to ignore my post. ;)

Regards,
Mr. Fleck
