Haha! is this good news or what! I know it's far from definite, but the fact that they are considering it is a huge leap forward.

I don't think they would have posted something if they weren't considering it at all.:hmm: At least this announcement is better than an outright refusal to ever do so. I for one will keep my fingers crossed.:yep:

We can only hope that an SH3 SDK automatically means an SH4 SDK, as both are built on the same engine.

I'm ambivalent. What I would be happy about is that they go through on all the promises of a better-moddable SHIV though :hmm:

If it actually comes to fruition, it'll certainly be welcome news for those that'll still be playing SH3.

I think you will find that "We are definitely considering this" is code words for "are you crazy , release the sdk , NEVER ".

That's how I read it, too. I would like to see it released, too. But I wouldn't hold my breath on this one, guys....

If they do release the SDK it will mean that SH V(if made) will be a complete
redesign.

The devs have stated SH4's engine has been tweaked, enhanced and improved, though the core is based on SH3. I don't think we'll see a new engine until perhaps SH5 or later (assuming the franchise continues).
