I don't care how cliched this may seem, but see the original first.

Watching the remake was like having my toes bitten off by rats.....why the hell did I bother?

Not seen this reincarnation of 'The Wicker Man', but if it's anything like the hollywood remake of 'Get Carter' I won't be giving it the time of day.

Hollywood has a habit of ruining great British films with tacky remakes. :down:

Absolutely right, Konovalov. Money, glamour and high tech isn't everything...

Send Hollywood a strong letter we Brits do not like there tacky remakes of a classic British films.

All above are correct. Edward Woodward was better, and there is only one Christopher Lee.

The Cage-involved remake of Gone In 60 Seconds was also a travesty.

Yea I doubt it has the fit blonde doing the crazy naked dance at the door.

Which in my opinion is the best scene in the Wicker Man.....;)

the original was better,they always make a remake of a movie and spoil it.

That was Britt Ekland as the blonde. She was Rod Stewart's & Peter Sellars squeeze until they each traded her in for a younger blonde.

#1 rule of all movie remakes: They suck.

Good point, I don't think I have ever seen a remake better than the original. And for the record the original King Kong is still the greatest film ever made unlike all the remakes. :smug:
