What is Dinsdale?
????? I've heard this term used a lot on this forum... ?????
|
yea who is he
|
:D Dinsdale is the new Bernard. We had to have a new one for SH4.
(If you dont know who bernard is, he`s the one that gets blamed everytime something goes wrong, for instance if you forget to delete the sh3 folder in "My documents" prior to a GWX installation, its Bernards fault) |

Dinsdale was a joke from Monty Python's Flying Circus, resurrected because somebody wanted a British version of Bernard. Only problem is, Dinsdale doesn't seem to have ever been a screwup, rather a deliberate troublemaker.

Yeah, Bernard is the dummkopf who surfaced my last boat right in the middle of a TF with three BBs in it and got us vaporized by 16' shell...

NO! There are those who want him to be, but I say Dinsdale is British and we need a good American scapegoat!

A navy version of Gomer Pyle:up:
..I agree with Steve, Dinsdale is excellent, but maybe we should have an american since SHIV is between US and Japan. |

I like to point out that the hedgehogs name is NOT Dinsdale! The name of that very hedgehog is Spiny Norman. It was Dinsdale who was certain that Norman was following him. The size of Norman varied according to Dinsdale, from 12 feet long to 800 yards long. Yes, I'm a Monty Python nerd, and I think, that if we do NOT use Dinsdale, then I think we should call him Mr. Gumby! |
