New Patch 1.04 (Status?)
Any word yet on when this will be out? There are still some major bugs in this game such as depth control (being the biggest to me), so I am still hoping, but I figure Sonalyst has given up on support for this game.
Is there a mod that addresses depth control yet? -S |
YEAH! I agree! No info on the patch whatsoever... :dead:
|
Progress is continuing on the 1.04 patch.
SCS is doing a noteworthy job of trying to get this right for you guys. Cheers, David |
I seriously doubt that. Even if one man works on something one day per week it is VISIBLE. And I can't see anything .. for ages.

Maybe he does :)
That kind of attitude doesn't help. Let's say some know more than others and SCS seem to be looking good in my book. |

It's the Silent Srvice: not only are specifications for the real subs classified, but even news about related games is only released on a strict need to know basis...
|
Its not on a need to know basis, its just that certain members of this forum are still bound by a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) with SCS. If you take the time to view the end credits of the agme you'll find out who they are.
sorry for spelling mistates as I'm using my mobile phone for net access at the moment :( |
Nothing lets you learn PATIENCE as being a fan of Dangerous Waters. :p
Now can we have the 1.04 patch ? :rotfl: |
Did anyone else get excited when they first read the title of the thread?:shifty:

I just don't understand what is taking so long. I'm programer myself. If I would need half a year or more to fix few minor glitches I'd be kicked out of the job in the moment. Fixes like this could be released in weeks, including beta-testing.
It is true that 1.03 brought brand new (and much better) sound propagation model, which was quite unexpected. So maybe we can expect something more than just fixes .. well hope never dies :|\\ |
Can someone please explain the purpose of the NDA in this instance? I thought the primary purpose of NDA's were to protect proprietary information relating to game development. We ALL know that 1.04 is out there being tested. How can it be a violation of the NDA to let the community know where we are in the process? COME ON SCS!!! HOW ABOUT A LITTLE STATUS REPORT, HUH?! :stare:
