What scenario for SHV?
Alright, here we go, what scenario would you like to see if thereīs SH5 coming our way?
|
Back to the Atlantic of course. We'll be sick of the Pacific after SHIV
|
Coool, Iīve voted first and Iīve got a hundred percent for U-Boat in the Atlantic. DEV TEAM, DO YOU LISTEN? :rotfl:
Seriously, before people start to scream at me... Iīve also looking forward to SH4 and the Pacific theatre, itīs going to be a change and itīll remind me of how my "subsim career" started with Silent Service (on C-64!) when I was a boy... I also remember playing AoD and SH1... godness, how time goes by... Cheers, AS |
The atlantic! Then we can see what they should have done in SHIII! AI subs and wolfpacks are a must.
Maybe the Med could be thrown in as well with british subs |
Second battle of Atlantic, like SH3, but this time give us more that just one side!
|
I didn't vote because I'd like to see them put it all together into one game.
|
Yes the atlantic again for me but done properly this time and with some of those cool new additions they keep showing for IV
|
Whilst all put in together would be nice, I can't realistically see that happening. I went for U-boat war in the Atlantic, but would also like different nations, e.g British U-class and T-class subs in Malta doing the 'Bread run' and maybe Italian subs doing covert frogmen infiltrations, as well as much more realistic systems management on German subs.
Cheers, Dan |
Perhaps the British submarine forces in the Atlantic. Perhaps the early nuclear class subs? Perhaps this question is best asked after SH4 comes out.
|
I think the Atlantic will be a must until we finally get WOLFPACKS! Iīd also love to see a REAL U-BOAT SIMULATION focussing on the simulation of U-Boat physics allowing the player to touch and operate every hand wheel and system, just like in Flightsims. That would be so great! My 2 cents, AS
|
I voted Atlantic, because by the time there's an SH5 there had better be an entirely new engine which will make the current models look like Aces Of The Deep does now.
WWI and post-war subs are cool, but not Silent Hunter material. |

Plus apart from the med there wasnt a great deal of axis shipping in the atlantic as they had most of europe to transport stuff over Now intelligent AI allied/axis subs would be good though |
The whole world in DX10 MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.
|
Atlantic and U-Boats
|
Atlantic!
|
Pacific and Destroyers!
*Runs for cover* :arrgh!: |
Atlantic..but as the Allies ( UK ) this time around
And get some midget subs like the X-craft |
Imagine secretly gliding into an enemy harbor on a midget sub - that would be really great. There should be an option to add new, playable subs as well - like in MS FlightSimulator. So people could create midget subs and all those other fascinating and weird experiments. (I remember there was a huge Japanese submarine-"carrier" in WW2, for example) Cheers, AS
|
@ Neal, now that Iīm one of the few guys who spell your name right:smug:, couldnīt you tell the SH4 DevTeam about our votes? Maybe itīll encourage UbiSoft to keep SH alive and kicking...
Cheers, AS |
What we need is a great nuclear subsim. A hunter/attack submarine, staying submerged for weeks and moving at 40 knots, or listening and hunting Russian subs, and stay in control of those hot reactors ;)
