Seth, that is a cool one. I just use image shack and a screenshot from the game. I make it smaller so the moderators do not string me up. Anyway, get image shack and start messing around with it until you have something you like. My little sig below is just a screenshot.

What do you have in mind? Personal Sigs need to be tailored to the end user, so throw some ideas out there.

If you can't tell us what you want in your sig, I would go with Seth's excellent offerings. They are really good.

As for making them your sig, follow these steps....

1)Snatch the one of your choice (save to HD)
2)Upload it to Imageshack (or other picture storage)
3)Imageshack will give you a set of links to your sig (copy the Direct Link for Forums)
4)Goto User CP in subsim (this will bring up your account)
5)Under Setting & Options, choose Edit Signature
6)Along the top there is a button that looks like two hills & a sun (this is the insert picture button)
7)Press this button and paste the link from ImageShack into the field & click ok

Note - One thing to go wrong here is that you end up with 2 x http:// in the link field for your image.

Your image should now be displayed if you press Preview Sig (bottom of page) then click save sig.

Please use a higher JPG compression, 70+ KB is way too much for a JPG of 400x120. It should be less than 20KB.

@ Kimuraijn: About the banner on your boat. Is it the emblem you mean (the little decoration on the conning tower?) If it is, its called an "emblem". I found this thread for you; it tells you all you need to know about making & using your own emblems.
