U-124 Lost

Kptlt. Wilhelm Schulz and U-124 was lost on Sept. 3 1942 in grid BF13 to 4 DD's. She did not leave without a fight, she gave the Royal Navy a nice big anaversy presint, a sunken Bouge CVE. So god bless Kleun Schulz and the crew of U-124, for they are on eternal patrol.http://foolstown.com/sm/shv.gif

:rotfl:Sorry for laughing, Wilhelm, but you never got to use all that renown!

P_Funk 11-07-06 05:36 PM

Thats ironic. I just started with a Kaleun by the same last name. Only its Sholtz with an O.

I'll get them for you!:arrgh!:

WilhelmSchulz. 11-07-06 06:23 PM

Im actuly thinking of starting a VII Carear. But I feel kinda naked with only one aft tube.

NipplesTheCat 11-07-06 06:43 PM

I have rigged my sub to self distruct upon its sinking. The primary explosion should be big enough to sink any ships within 300m, followed by a massive explosion of multi colored confetti, followed by a big red flag that says "BANG" on it. Seriously though, you had a good career it looks like. Are you starting over from 39?

WilhelmSchulz. 11-07-06 06:51 PM

I dont know. And I actuly started in 40.

Der Eisen-Wal 11-08-06 12:41 AM

u did good man, i started a new career in 43 and would be very happy to live as long as you did.

Kapitan 11-08-06 05:29 AM

nice shame about U-124 im now in U-806 its late 1942 now the escorts are getting a bit heavyer and ive had a fair amount of damage but ive sank 3 major warships and on the hunt to norfolk for that carrier soon then maybe gibralter then freetown for that liner.

But its all part of the fun i started in 1939 with U-6 then got U-55 now im in U-806 and i hate the type IXC :(

Subwolf 11-08-06 01:43 PM

The bottom of BF13 must be full of dead subsim-kaleuns.

:dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: and now U-124 :dead:
Maybe i'm next, unless I'm smarter than the DD's...as always

Jimbuna 11-08-06 01:45 PM

Sorry to hear your tragic news Wilhelm :o

Feeling a little puzzled tho cos my U-124 have just sent a message to BDU from Grid CC45 and the date is Dec. 12 1942 :hmm: (just a wee joke...loking at my sig) :D

bookworm_020 11-08-06 05:16 PM

Get your own U-124! Keep away from mine, while I sink the British Merchant Fleet!:arrgh!:
