Thank you
Personally I think this game is a diamond in the rough. A breakthrough for us Sub sim fans...While not perfect, Silent Depth has alot of potential. Thanks for the latest update, and all of your efforts to create a mobile sub sim game. Looking forward to the next update!

Thanks for your support Rwearjr.
We work on the next update  All the best Chris |
silent depth simulator?
I waited a year for what will happen. What is simulated? View by periscope? It's still a simple shooting. I would also run well on the Silent Service 2 emulator and I would have the same thing except 3d graphics. You destroyed the cool effect of deep-sea bombs in favor of interior graphics 3d. But as you said - fast game only. The simulator is a simulator and your game is only shooter. Therefore, do not be surprised that you have little to collect. I have hope your next game be beter. More platform = no time to quality game... Sorry for my opinion.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. What happened to your last account? ;)
You don't have to apologize for your opinion. It's, like you said, your opinion. I repeat my last offer. Give me your PayPal address, I send you the money back and you can buy a Pizza. :) |

So you most likely never played a shooter before. Understood. Maybe I can recommend some good ones.

Seba are you getting paid for repeating you critics over and over again over this long time? Why you waste your time with a game that you don't like? :hmmm:
But overall a bad comment is a comment and brings the game in talk  |
And I'm very happy to say that we had so much good comments on our game. Look at that many very nice gameplay videos on youtube and the nice discussions on facebook.
Thanks all to the players that love the game. :subsim: |
A nice video of the android version made yesterday by a german player.

Some input & questions.
Great game. Reminds me of "Silent Service" that I played in the 80's on an Atari 800, but much better graphics. Been playing it for 4 days almost straight. Sometimes a "Ship" shows quite far away in TBT (7000+) but is not on the map. Other times, a ship shows as listing & burning, nearby, but it isn't on the tac map, and no matter what you do, you can not sink it. The Addition of AA will be great. Also, does it matter where your gun fire hits the enemy? Other sub sims say to shoot close to the water line, to sink faster, but that doesn't seem to help here.
I tried posting this on your Facebook page, but it would not post, except as a comment. Thanks! |
Sadly, this game is dead. Or the support from the developer in this forum is.
I posted 3 subjects months ago and still no answer :( Sad, because it has a lot of potential in the iPad... |

What kind of support do you need? |
My complete post says:

The developers undoubtedly have a life...their being here to answer questions is a courtesy. I "play" this sim several times a week...it's not dead.
Are there glitches? Certainly...name a game that has none. Still love this sim !!! |
Sorry, but this game, for iPad, is DEAD. No more patches, no more replies from the developers. DEAD. Sadly.

Sorry guys for the long time paused to not answer.
At now we had worked so much in the game and improved a lot in the gameplay and gfx. But sadly the community rated the game down. We say thank you to all players who still love Silent Depth, but without your positiv reviews we had no chance to bringing this game foreward. Silent Depth is the only "real" Submarine simulation game since 2016 for mobile devices. SD is not a arcade like shooter, it has all simulation features that you well known from a PC Game. But it looks like the gamers love to critizise a game in development and rating it badly. A lot of players wrote us to make a PC Version so we worked it out to bring to game on steam, while saying it is not finished. In the end it was a desaster. If you look on the steam site you know what I'm mean. We wasted our time. After all i must said it was an experience but we could not turn back time. Clear the bridge! Dive Dive! Best Chris |
