Turning Point problem
I started a career using silentotto cheat and when I requested the mission VIIC/41 Sea Trials and then I started the patrol my Uboat was in the SE Pacific!!! I think something is amiss :o

Well, not exectly a bug: during the early stage of Monsun Gruppe campaign development, Trevally used Turning Point for testing the new base in Penang, but after finishing, he forgot to restore the original base. This oversight will be corrected in v2 of the mod. Source: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...postcount=1382 |

You can fix this yourself if you wish,
goto - C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\UPCDataGE\UPCCampaignData open with notepad - Flotillas.UPC look for [flotilla 6. base 2] - it will look like this:- [Flotilla 6.Base 2] ID= F6Penang;ID= F6Kiel NameDisplayable= Penang-Base-Name;NameDisplayable= Kiel-Base-Name Info= Penang-Base-Info;Info= Kiel-Base-Info ExternalBaseName= Penang;ExternalBaseName= Kiel AvailabilityInterval= 1943-02-21, 1943-04-15;1943-03-15 DepartureDescription1= 12038860.000000, 651951.000000, 33.000000;DepartureDescription1= 1217736.891907, 6518668.470551, 328.940399 DepartureDescriptionOut1= 12040257, 654277, 34;DepartureDescriptionOut1= 1216450, 6531720, 30 Notice that each line has a ";" delete all info before the ; it will now look like this:- [Flotilla 6.Base 2] ID= F6Kiel NameDisplayable= Kiel-Base-Name Info= Kiel-Base-Info ExternalBaseName= Kiel AvailabilityInterval= 1943-02-21, 1943-03-15 DepartureDescription1= 1217736.891907, 6518668.470551, 328.940399 DepartureDescriptionOut1= 1216450, 6531720, 30 or just copy and paste this one:D  |

OHII can not control when you get a new boat - it can only control when you don't:D I think TDW has said that the code for giving promotion points and thus new boats is hard coded in the exe. Lets hope that one day he finds the addy and can then use his patcher to allow us to change this. OHII can only say when you will not get a new boat by using the roster to set dates when the boats become available. So the dates are set to the campaigns as follows:- CW - typeA HT - typeB (if enough kills in type A) MN & WA - typeC TP - typeC41 So you can see that if the user has completed whatever conditions are set in the hard coding - they will get new boats during the above campaigns Sorry this was not the answer you were looking for:arrgh!: |
The Black Pit - Brittish Supplies
I wanted to point out: the cross-hatched circle on the map for the British Supplies mission is in a location that does not correspond with the little iron cross for the mission description. In fact it is the exact same circle that is shown for The Gap Closers, I think.
I tried to get a screen capture but I don't think the Print Screen button was working for me. |
Well Crap then...:dead: iam at Happy Times and iam still with VIIA..:/\\!! i have sinked plenty of ships.. that means if i didn't get VIIB at Happy Times beginning then i didn't get it at all..:wah:

Take it philosophically though. I am almost sure that, provided that you will collect the needed promotion points, at the end of one of your next patrols you will be given the chance to trade your old, rusted VII A with a shinig, brand-new VII B :03: |

As mentioned by volodya61, you can make a screen shot by pressing Ctrl + F11. Look for that image in your main SH5 folder. It will have an extension of jpg. |
