Thanks for your largess!:yeah: By the time my ancient Motorola flip-phone takes the shot; sends it to my daughter; and then is transferred by her to my WIN7 computer; to be uploaded to 'my library' by miserably scammy Photobucket (and its $399 'deal") I, at 66, am exasperated; this on top of the behind-schedule main contractor: The de-stuccoed frame and my current bedroom's plastic sheet window while the masterbath(smaller window) is also ongoing remodelling>http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...suiokcrsj.jpeg Temperatures at night hover around 32F. The unplanned cracked & rain damage'd 1in. thick stucco and two new windows are certainly well above the original e$timate; At least the roof and gutters went without a hitch.. a day ahead of schedule! These homes were built in the 60's without insulation; that is also being upgraded. Additionally the older stucco dust undoubtedly contains asbestos,(mesothelioma??!!) so masks were required-nuthin' we aint used to from the recent fires- plenty of masks on hand!. Insulation and the new roof shingles will save on heating and cooling costs down the line. The city permit people kindly relented slightly on my personal appearance/ plea on the fees as the damage is possibly quake related.:salute: Re stuccoing commences on Tuesday with me handling mist-spraying of the new stucco surface while it 'cures'.

Nope, I'm fine but I dare say I'll probably be feeling a bit different tonight after imbibing a few glasses of Nelsons blood.

STEED 12-26-17 05:19 PM

Wednesday will see snow! Please no no no no.

Went out for a walk in the morning to drop off some recyclable rubbish and popped in the post office to send another bit of recyclable stuff in the post, post free of course.

Cars now in the garage because a wheel bearing has gone on the car so it could have been worse and happened on a bank holiday I suppose.

One problem you may not fit.

Cold crisp day here and the sun has just popped out and the rain has stopped. Just put the rubbish out for collection by my useless council.

It just gets better, the ABS sensor and a ball joint need replacing.

Catfish 12-29-17 09:14 AM

^ Ball joint, ok, for everything else "electronics is the new rust" :nope:

Will also have to replace both fore wheel bearings, it still think it's a bit early with 30 years of service and appx. 700,000 km on the clock :hmmm:
