I know, I've been using the WinRAR trial period for around two years now. God bless whoever made it :)

That one just killed me! :har:
It's so true.

When I got a license after using it for years for free, I still waited for the trial period window popping up after opening an archive...it took me ages until I got rid of that muscle-memory :haha:

Why anyone still uses WinRar over 7-zip I'll never know!

Probably because of the extended trial period :)

Cause it's free.

Cause it still works every time. Flawlessly.

But mainly cause I'm a stubborn old bugga who hates change.:D

7-Zip is free. It works flawlessly. It also opens files none of the others can. WinRAR is old news. Very old news. :O:

Every file I have ever unpacked has been done with WinRAR. I have not come across any that it can't unpack. If I do I will try 7-Zip. Begrudgingly.

And I won't like it. :O:

Hey, at least you know where you stand. A man can't ask for more than that. :yep:

As for myself, I don't remember, but I suspect that at the time I needed it WinRAR couldn't open 7-Zip files. A lot can change in eight years. A lot had better change in eight years, or people go out of business.

Nostalgic reasons, maybe.
I have 7-zip as well. I just don't like it as much as I like my good ol' winRAR...
