The German «LSH3 project» needs help with the translation of German texts into English.

The supermod "Living Silent Hunter 3" has been 95% compatible with the English language for years.

However, a few (graphical) contents have never been translated into English.

For the upcoming Supermod version "LSH3 - Edition 2020" we now want to fix this last language "bug".

I'm looking for SH3 players (german to english translators) who have very good knowledge about seafaring!
(Online translations via Google is not sufficient)

Please excuse my poor English and possibly inaccurate statements.

LSH3-Edition-2020 will be published by the end of this year.
Planned until the end of November.

At the moment fullversion version Release Candidate-1 (RC1) exists.

All it needs is some translation work from German to English (info texts/descriptions for 33 single and multi missions and for some information boards, see above).

In the video check from minute 4.

On the topic of submarine selection you can find there in the video (time 13 minutes 18 seconds).
All submarine types, all type variants and all tower variants, including all historically correct equipment are fully integrated and playable.

In my opinion (not validated!) Ahnenerbe's mod "German U-Boats Compilation" should be compatible.
ROWI's CCoM v10.x and LSH3-Edition-2010 are nearly identical.
CCoM originated back then from the LSH3 project.
Unfortunately we can't ask ROWI anymore because he passed away 2 years ago.

So much for my information.

I hope we can finish our project LSH3-Edition-2020 with the support of the English speaking SH3 community.

Can someone please correct “Seerohr” to “Sehrohr”? Also “Periskoptiefe” wasn’t used back then, “Sehrohrtiefe”. I’d also question looking for mines through the periscopes - are we sure this is feasible in real life?

I would also change “Geschwindigkeit” to ”Fahrt” when dealing with own boat speed or enemy speed. Geschwindigkeit was used for torpedo speeds but not the speed of vessels.

Germans is very mutch like Swedish, you can allmost tell what it is, you hear it. But i'm not a great English text speller.. :D so i'm sorry to not to be Abel to help. I hope you get someone who can help you prety fast, becoz i like to try this out :D Best regards from Northland, Sweden.

Since 15 years LSH/CCom is the German SH3 heritage of the worldwide SH3 culture.

Let's wait and see how "Living Silent Hunter III -Editon 2020" will be received worldwide again.
It is clear that it will be the last SH3 "supermod" made ever.
