As the old saying goes, Trevally and finchOU, "For the want of a nail the horse was lost...........".

It was Trevally's last line.....

If you have antilag running - remove it as it will stop the monitoring:up:
.....that resolved the MSI onscreen graphics problem! I Never heard of that one before.

Though unused many thanks, Gentleman, for your excellent tutorials.

ANOTHER QUESTION: Now that I've removed the Antilag .cfg how can I control or limit the frame rate in game?

short answer: you can't.

really short answer: turning v-sync on is the closest you can come to limiting frame rate

Actually, you might be able to, but it depends on your graphics card. If it's nVidia, there are programs out there that let you do it, I've heard. I've got an EVGA GTX 570 myself, and with the latest nVidia drivers and EVGA PrecisionX running, I can "cap out" the FPS to anything I like.

Where do you find this setting? What is it called? :hmmm:

Back on OHII topic.....hehe..... I just finished my second patrol on Oct 5th 39...before realizing that the Scapa Flow's mission is deadlined for Oct 15 (oops). Well...I'm thinking i best do a quick turn in port and head to Scapa... I load up Torps....Select the Scapa mission...Load my mission. Buuuuut....but now its Oct 19th as it took that long for refit. The patrol area is still Scapa....but the Mission "iron cross" icon is gone.

Can I still 'complete the mission'? or should I just dock and Get a new mission that I"m assuming pops up?

It's on EVGA PrecisionX (the latest version of that software) at the bottom of the screen "Frame Rate Target." Just enable, set it to whatever you want the max frame rate to be and hit "apply."

You can't..
Enable this one - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3388 , then change days in bunker and load the save which was made before last docking..

If you had just gone to the nearest port and re-armed without ending patrol - you could have gone straight there.

(I always save my game before entering the harbour, in bunker and start of new patrol)

volodya61 work around should work - set it to 1 day and you should still make it - then remove the mod or change it to some other setting:up:

finchOU 06-24-12 12:52 PM

yeah...but can you select/choose the new mission with the 'refit' option?

You can't select it persay. But when the mission becomes available, you can see the mission description on the map. You don't have to select a mission to fulfill the requirements and pass the objective/campaign

There, now I was helpful :)

Thanks ...thats what I was looking for...didnt realize you could complete a mission without accepting it first.

Next question...if i'm in port for a "refit" vice "end patrol"....can I edit my MOD list or edit my UI user options file? First partol after editing the user options file and im making notes of what I like dont like. Have some stuff I'd like to tweet as well.

Maki4444 06-24-12 04:03 PM

You're welcome finchOU :)

Well that actually depends on the mod. As far as I see it some cosmetic tweeks like changing the layount UI interface and similar details like acurate flags or chronometer type mods shouldn't be a problem.

But mods which change objectives and victory conditions, or change the ship roster (MNTS) require a campaign restart, or a start of a new campaign before aplying.
