Never tested with Ccom, but best way to know is to try it!
Be aware Ccom is not 16Km render, and it has the vanishing hull on horizon...so don’t really know what it could happen with ships detection (visual sensors)
Best is to activate it on top of all, and launch a patrol. See how the Visual ships detection works. Has to be tested with all kind of weather (all fog/rain etc)
Others sensors shouldn’t matter in my opinion, hydrophone and radar should work as before, but visuals are important...And should be Quite messed up.

I was once attacking a convoy and an air raid started to attack the convoy a few minutes after I dove to 150 meters after sinking 4 ships. Very strange. I heard plane engines and I was like, "Shoot! I got planes and DDs coming in on me!" Then I went to the external cam and saw some HE111s or BF110s attacking the convoy. I cannot remember which type of plane it was.
