I really like Mark Hamill. For what I know, he is down to earth and a nice guy. I also like his acting, I know he does a lot of stage work and I respect very much. But no, playing the joker for a decade in smaller, less known series or movies is hardly a notable career compared to what, for example, Ford achieved.
I am very much into movies and series, yet I didn't even know he played the joker...
Ford appeared in many Hollywood Blockbusters over the decades, he is famous. Mark Hamill is mostly known for Star Wars exclusively.
So, I think that meme isn't far off reality here.
