A neat little collection!

Jimbuna 06-04-11 03:53 PM

Starting to run out of ideas and there are only two Boscombe Down variants I've yet to collect :hmmm:

TarJak 06-04-11 06:35 PM

That's the problem with collecting things like this. Once you've got the set what do you do next?

Start another collection of course....:D

Yeah...I've already done all the Gulf War and Falklands examples and only need two more (one of which I'm currently bidding for on evilBay) to complete the Boscombe Down set.

I suppose I'll concentrate more on other manufacturers such as Gemini and Hobbymaster.

HM have a lovely looking Sea Vixen overdue for release but they also make the only Tornado variant I haven't got (F3) and it doesn't look right to me, too skinny. I like my Tornados 'beefed up' with missiles, bombs and ecm pods etc.

Nice ones Jamie...are they 1/144?

Kratos was out on Thursday and I told him of your pending marriage.

His response (whilst laughing) "The silly bastid, wish him all the best from me". :DL

Oberon 06-05-11 05:43 AM

I believe they are, the 109 and Zero probably a bit smaller in scale. They're Corgis, nice little lookers. Not bad for just over a fiver for the lot.
Haha, thank Kratos and give him my best when you see him next, tell him Schroeder is still pining for him ;)

Rgr that...will do.

Only a fiver for five examples? :o

Latest addition...this time it's the Wessex HAS.3 nicknamed 'Humphrey'

Flying off HMS Antrim during the Falklands Conflict this helicopter rescued nearly 20 SBS and SAS personnel from various miniature craft due to outboard engine failures and recovered others after covert operations had been carried out.

Hello Hello, looks like this little beauty got lost underneath the chaff. That's a very nice Wessie there Jim, love the nickname, makes of think of the Helo in Thomas which was called Harold, he was modelled after a Wessie too IIRC. :yeah:
