How to make a Yasen eat it's own torpedo: 1) get in close 2) scare the poop out of 'em 3) let 'em launch a torpedo at you 4) stay within the torpedo's turn so the seeker doesn't pick you up 5) watch torpedo circle around and pick up launch ship 6) save the US government about $4,000,000. 😀

Ok I am missing something...can't figure how to set up a screen shot...any help?

In game you press either f10 or f12. One of those hides the UI displays, the other takes the screenshot.


There are probably other ways too.

Did I win the Red Storm Rising (Free Roam) 2000 Campaign?

21 ships sunk, completed the seals mission, now no ships or subs will spawn...

I've encountered that scenario in just about every attempt at this campaign. Some campaigns go on longer than others but inevitably, targets dry up.

I'm of the opinion, that targets are actually there, players just can't see them on the map. If you sail around you can sometimes bump into them by chance. I have the most success doing this in the North Sea along the coasts of Norway, Denmark and the UK. Also in the narrow passage from the North Sea towards Poland. I suspect this is just because of the confined playing area the chances of bumping into something is greater.

You can always find more targets by going back to Leningrad.

The South China Sea campaign does not appear to have this issue.
