Drinking may be a problem for all of us I suspect, given Jim's penchant for the Brown Ale. Myself I'm looking forward to becoming familiar with Webster's Yorkshire Bitter again.

I forgot to mention they do a crackin full english breakfast. When I was there with the wife we booked B and B in advance but IIRC you get the choice to book by a certain time the day before and a small discount is given.

Failing that there are loads of decent eating places inside the city walls.

They've replaced the gas lamps with an electric lighting system since then.
