Nice pictures, Jim!
Do you have some pics from inside the midget sub? It looks enterable. |

The inside was fully viewable with the naked eye but the camera flash simply bounced of the glass making the pictures unviewable. |
Nice pics jim, looks like no change in the land war section but still a good layout. As I recall on my visit some years ago there were a load of Tanks outside under repair in a fenced off area.

It's been 21 years since i was there, the place looks unrecognisable..
Great pictures, is that the prototype Eurofighter? I saw it on it's first public display in 1995 at the RIAT in Fairford, when the engines were not finished yet and it flew around with the same engines as the Tornado.. Great place, it was the first time i saw a V2 rocket:o Really liked the pictures, thanks! |

Where was the V2? |
Well it was 21 years ago, lot's of time to move things around, maybe they swapped it with another museum for something interesting they had, common practise i guess.

Never saw the V1 or V2 on my visit to Duxford in the 1990's. RAF Hendon has both, the V2 is all green. Imperial war museum has a V2 & the Aerospace Museum Cosford also has both of them, their V2 is the Black & White version.
BTW: Hendon has a three drum enigma machine. |

Just checked some pictures to make sure, there it was..:har: What i do remember clearly is that it was much bigger than i thought:) |
BTW Jim next to Colindale Tube station Northern Line on the right as you come out there was a model kit shop, stacks of aircraft kits. May be still there if your lucky.
Turn left for Hendon. |

What we can all agree on is, there is a V2 at Hendon and it is now one of the priorities for a photograph :03: Quote:
