The boss fights aren't that hard without Typhoon either, Barret Stun gun explosive barrel. He never touched me. Mantis Dermal Armor, I just stood by the power generator let her hit me and she died. (electricity can't hurt you with the dermal upgrade.)

For the nostalgia's sake, this week Yahtzee took a look back to Deus Ex 1:
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/vide...n/4093-Deus-Ex And from TotalBiscuit/Cynical Brit comes an hour long review of DEHR (may contain spoilers, haven't watched it yet); WTF is Deus Ex: Human Revolution http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BpLv4GSm8k EDIT: ^ No main story spoilers. |

He never touched, never even threw a nade NEAR me. He had no idea where I was and just wandered around lost until that second explosive barrel hit him and ended his life. |
Just finished it, great game. :up:
***SPOILER WARNING*** I chose the blow the station ending, does the other ending answer more questions? Like the side mission where you meet the old woman who adopted you (or something like that). It seemed like a pretty big thing, yet I never heard from her again. :06: ***END OF SPOILER*** |
Blew it up as well, let them figure it out on their own.

The endings have been getting abit of flak for being too vague and not really providing enough closure for HR's big storyline. (basically the endings are on par with those of the first Deus Ex.... a bit crap)
Another little gripe for them note down along with Boss fights I guess. Aparently Human revolution has sold more copied in two days, than DE2: Invisible war did in its entire life time. (but that game had stuff all marketing) lol Its fair to say that it has been a very successful 'franchise reboot' for Eidos @ Square Enix, there is bound to be a sequel or two after this, weather they can continue match or better Human Revolutions depth and quality remains to be seen. **SPOILER-ISH Alert! @Dowly, I chose to send the word out and not blow up the compound. To answer your question, No - the ending was all about the effects on Mankind in general, nothing specific about what happens to Adam or anyone else in the game. **END SPOILER-ISH Alert! |
@JU88 rgr that
So, basicly what I read in a review is true: You can kill every single killable character and be as douche as you want and it doesn't matter. There's only 1 choice that really affects anything in the game. That kinda sucks. :-? Oh BTW JU88, if you're planning to go back to Deus Ex, the "New Vision" mod was just released for it. http://www.moddb.com/mods/deus-ex-new-vision :up: EDIT: Adam Jensen speed drawing by Zooc (contains info on Jensen's background, so SPOILER WARNING): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81dkULYE0dM He got some pretty good drawing vids on his channel, so check them out too. |
Just finished it as well. Did everyone stay for the little easter egg after the credits?
|
Of course, always let the credits run through the first time. :yep:
Used to be fairly common. Nowadays a lot of games just let the credits loop indefinetly. :-? |
