I don't particularly care for any of your opinions yet do I attack you? No, have I attacked you? No. Will I attack you? No. I simply stated that people are blaming UBI and the pirates, yet UBI nor the pirates held a gun to your head and demanded that you buy the game or die. Just because my opinion differs from yours, whether great or small doesn't mean that I have a holier than though opinion. Its is just my opinion. But seeing as you were to busy posting back to back to back with your buddy attacking my opinion means that you must be one of the ones who are not able to play the game. So if it makes you feel better to attack me because you can't play the game you bought. So be it. I'll allow you to have that satisfaction, simple as it may be. Good day. Enjoy the game. |

Well that statement says to me that you care little for anyone at these forums. The way I read it , the more subsimmers that cant play the happier I am because I told you so. That said I may be reading it completely wrong? Would you care to clarify? |
I dont own the game nor do I play it.
I will not buy it until drm and online requirement is removed. If it's not, I will not play it. But I don't smile because other can't play it. Because I saw Ubi destroy the Ravenshield series. The Ghost Recon series. Just another fine game series they turned into.. [censored] Because I know how to feels to have friends playing online. You buy the game. Wait for a few days until it comes, and you install it and start it and... It says you need to insert the original disk which is already in the drive. And you ask yourself : ok. So the pirates are playing the game, and I got an original which I can now stuff into my ass. Ubisoft : I hope you die. Really. Just die and suffer. |
Some of the posts/ comments here are very funny!:haha: and very clever!!:haha: I'd actually be laughing hysterically at them had I not spent $50.00 on a useless dvd that sits in my pc and spins around but does nothing but make a humming kinda White noise!!!:wah:
Look UBI,I like WhiteNoise as much as the next guy.........but not @$50.00 a pop!!! |

I just hope that Ubi can sort this out before too many of their customers give up on this Game. |

ONE of the advantages of Ubi's OSP is that you dont need your DVD in the drive. So you can take it out now. :yep: Pity they didnt list the disadvantages too eh ? :D |
Thanks for the response jwilliams. Who was it that attacked the Steam servers? I wonder what reason they had. How strange the internet is.

Thats really quite sad, but anyway... I also posted it on SimHQ's boards, and have read it dozens if not hundreds of times in the discussions at the bottom of articles on various gaming websites, usually dealing with articles about OSP in general or Assassins Creed 2. Anyone who thinks the idea of DDOS attacks were unthought of is naive to an unimaginable degree. This is from the 23rd of February since "proof" of what you seem to think of as my amazing Nostradamus like abilities is seemingly so important to you... http://208.84.116.223/forums/index.p...ic=30523&st=40 Post #47 Quote:

- Ubi produces game many people have no option to play in single player.
- Ubi is denying me and thousands like me, the ability to play SH5, and unlike people with slow computers, no amount of money I can throw at the problem will fix it to enable me to play the game. - Everyone who buys a copy of SH5 or any other OSP, whether they agree with it or not, whether they have pretty little 'protest signatures' or not, are directly supporting Ubi's policy, and thus by endorsing Ubi's policy, you are denying me the ability to play a single player game. - I generally don't support hackers, crackers, pirates or other online fiends, but in this case, they're the only one sticking up for me while you all who bought the game effectively stabbing me and everyone else in my position in the back and say 'well sorry mate, but thanks for all the laughs but ummm...Bye' - Ubi needs to be taught a lesson and brought back down to Earth. I have no sympathy for anyone who can't log onto this system. Quote:

I don't think you really mean that you were willingly thrown under the bus do you? That would mean that you wanted it to happen. I don't think in any case that 'every hacker on the planet' did take part in a DDOS attack, as that would be rather a lot of attacks, by rather a lot of people. Also, the groundswell of opinion is currently turning to their never having been a DDOS attack and it being a ruse by Ubisoft to hide their servers lack of capacity to cope with normal demand at peak times. Which is the turth, I don't know. |
