hi subsimmers

hi folks :)
my name is peter stuart.
i'm a full time journalist/cameraman/video editor for a local tv station in belgium.
i started playing sh3 about 4 years ago, and the game was appealing from the start. a steep learning curve, which you could compensate by gradually increasing the level of realism. the high level of moddability (ubisoft should hire the people at gwx for their fine work :) , and the strong community support, make this one of the best games ever in my book.
i've known subsim also for about 4 years, visiting as a guest.
i'm a sucker for the atlantic campaigns, so sh4 is not that high on my game shelf. of course last week i got me sh5.
clearly this game should, can and will improve in the hands of modders. and i hope to be able to help by joining on these here boards :)

my sub is Seeklar, ready for sea. just don't forget to bring along torpedoes.

That's true. Do you remember old barracuda? I'm Still around and with a new user name. Reason for a change in user name - well the portuguese sub barracuda was decomissioned and we are waiting for the new flotilla, and the first is the Tridente.
Only yesterday i've received my copy (limited edition from UK) and i like the game. One thing that is annoying - where i can get a pdf from the keyboard layout? Now in the begining i need a print of that.

Tridente.

had the same problem, keyboard layout in the booklet is unreadable, and the one in the pdf that came with the disk is just as bad. you'll find a decent layout at the ubisoft-site though. you could try to save that one on your hd and print it out.

Hello everyone,

I'm 20 years old, live in a small country town of Burt, Iowa. Redneck Country. I currently work at the local lumberyard as a yardman/delivery. For my hobbies I enjoy building computers, shooting my guns, playing computer simulations and Civil War Re-enacting. My First simulation was Janes WWII fighters.

NEW to this

:yeah:I am 60 years old and have worked my way through all the subsims. This is the bestso far.But what makes all of them better is the great work the modders do.I am always amazed how quick you are to make the game better.

Cpt Haddock 03-10-10 10:24 AM

Time to get on board again, and as Man of Iron so rightly says the Modders make it, with out them we would be scuppered.

Really enjoying the sim, trying the new mods and improvemnts out, was one of the ones stuck on the fence over DRM, but re-ordered and havent regreted a penny of it.

Top work Neal you legend.:yeah:
