hehe, same here OLC...the game hooked me onto it like no other game I've played lately...the last game that hooked me on so bad was Warcraft II on the PC.
the story, gameplay the character development...its just a interactive movie your playing and a very well done one. still have to get ME2, but will do that soon.:yep: Quote:

So you're playing ME1 at the moment?
Yeah, good point. Mustn't be rushed. *sigh* |
Already played through ME1 once as a good guy with the original John Shepard.
now playing throught it again as a Renegade Vanguard class customized Shepard. http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/8581/myfist.jpg and beeing a arsehole towards the council is funny :D especialy when that turian counceler is bla bla bla about humans in a negative way in a transmission sesion on the Normandy I just ''Disconnect'' :haha: And so far nobody lived after they tried to kill me and surrender, have a change of mind or claimed to have been possessed and try to explain there action. Somehow I always managed to avoid pressing that disconnect button. But I really wanted to!
I've noticed a lot of people tend to play all-paragon or all-renegade. I prefer playing each option as it comes. I think "what would I do" and go with that. I tend to end up mostly paragon with some renegade points. Sometimes it's hard to predict exactly what a certain option will do, and I occasionally end up killing someone when all I wanted to do was intimidate them. This is made even worse with the paragon/renegade interrupts in ME2. I won't spoil anything for you but be aware that they can lead to unexpected results! :) |
With the Original Shepard I did the same as you did, ''What would I have done''
Mostly paragon points I got from it with a little renegade here and there. That part where you have to choose who your going to save, the one you ordered to do the nuke or the one with the other commandos....I thought it would contain a time limit or something and thinking I could save both I chose to go to the AA tower and rescue ashley go back and pick up kaidan....gosh was I suprised. So the Character Development part in ME is really good...because you really get attached to the crew of the Normandy and to make a choice...that gets hard. HunterICX |
:yeah: Got Mass Effect 2: Collectors Edition today

Ow crap, that Jack is something I don't think I like her on my ship that much...:D Joker would hate to see the hull paint beeing scratched when she punches a hole in it.

HUMANITY WILL RULE THE GALAXY! DEATH TO ALL REAPER SCUM!
http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5845/me1xr.jpg (finished my 2nd playthrought of Mass effect 1 and made pretty much am the one that made sure that the annoying cuitadel council members are dead!) HunterICX |
Jack died in my case :dead:.
|
Finished my first playthrought in ME2 with my Renegade Vanguard.
the second game really feels like your middle in the trilogy, you want to get into 3 right away..:wah: but we'll have to wait. HunterICX |
Hunter, you can mix paragon and renegade as you can. Some of my characters are 80% paragon and 20% renegade because I love to see some of the renegade interruption. Like breaking the Merc leader's neck, shot at the barrel hanging, and ended up to the result like this:

I just got back into playing the first ME. I'm currently on the moon destroying the VI that went out of whack. The last main story mission I completed was on Feros.
|
Finished both on insanity a few times now. What I really liked in 2 was the miniature space hamster, a reference to Baldur's Gate. Remember Minsc?

3min trailer recapping the plot that leads up to ME2. Nice primer if you haven't played the first game. |
